Why You’re Never Too Old For Disney World

Disney World is the Happiest Place on Earth. And no I’m not kidding! The hype of the park is totally worth it. I grew up going to Disney ever summer with my family and I have come to realize its like a second home to me. The magic that surrounds this place is like no other, the feelings of joy and happiness are never-ending and the constant greetings and hugs never stop. If you’ve never been to this magical place then you need to pay a visit. No matter how old you are Disney World has something in store for you.

The Environment

Disney has a theme for everything. Every restaurant, hotel, store and ride are decorated from head to toe. My favourite resort is Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride at Magic Kingdom. The Imagineers paid attention to every little detail when designing the resort that you literally feel like your inside the real fairytale. You don’t necessarily need to be a kid to enjoy all the magic of Disney.

The Food

Disney food is not like typical amusement park food. It’s diverse, unique and exciting. If you’re in Animal Kingdom you can expect exotic dishes from Asia or Africa. Or if you’re dining in Epcot you can try cuisines from 11 different countries across the globe. The choices are endless, and not too too expensive. If you want to spend more time with your character friends try Character Dining, a personal one on one experience to interact and eat with. I dined with Winnie the Pooh, Tiger and Alice in Wonderland for the first time this year “as an adult” and enjoyed every second of our breakfast together.

The Rides

One of the best things about Disney World is the rides. Thrilling, fast, daring and entertaining are all words to describe some of the rides at the four theme parks. Ranging from slow and relaxing to daunting and exciting, these rides will keep you longing for more. I have never gotten bored on any of them simply because I enjoy them too much. Try riding Roller Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster or taking a splash down Kali River Rapids for the time of your life.

The Cast Members

The cast members make you feel like a million bucks. You are basically treated like royalty and will always feel comfortable. Whether your dining or staying at a resort they will make sure you are satisfied with everything. I think the cast members are one of the reasons we keep going back to Disney. No matter how old you are they treat you like you belong here. Being a past cast member at Animal Kingdom I always have good things to say about my fellow co-workers!

So now you know how amazing Disney World is you should definitely plan a visit. Age is just a number and is not a requirement to visit this place of wonderland. It is one of the most visited tourist destinations on earth which means there are people of all ages coming to explore, so why shouldn’t you?

I agree with everything on this post! I am a mom to three little ones and my husband and I still love going just the two of us sometimes! Great read.

I didn’t go to Disney World until I was in my 40’s and had a blast!! I was worse than some of the kids there. You are never too old to have fun

Totally agree with you! I’m 36 and I love Disney! We went to Disney World last year and are already desperate to go back.

I went to Disneyland Paris as a kid and I remember just absolutely loving the whole day. I’ve been begging the other half to go back as adults and do a short trip there soon as we never stayed in one of the hotels or did a meal with a character – I’d love to meet a princess!
