Quick Guide to: Lugano, Switzerland

While living in Italy for a summer I knew I wanted to explore a bit more of Europe before going back home to Canada. So while on a trip to Milan, I booked a one-day excursion to Lake Como and Lugano, Switzerland. This was my first real solo trip to a new country! Even if I only had a few hours to explore I knew it would be worth it.

The drive from Italy to Switzerland is a scenic one. I witnessed some of the most incredible sights on that journey. From huge emerald green lakes to the snow covered alps I was completely blown away by the scenery here. I hadn’t been to any other part of Europe this gorgeous. I did not have any intentions heading into Lugano- instead, I just walked around and enjoyed the view.
